Ong Seong-wu was born in Incheon, South Korea. He has one older
sister and is the youngest child among two. He went to Guwol Middle School, and
later to Hanlim Multi Art School, graduating in 2014. He graduated as a dance
and acting major from Dong Seoul University. Ong had also danced professionally
as a member of numerous street and B-boy dance groups during these years.

encouraged Ong to learn a musical instrument and he began to play the drums
when his sister was learning to play the piano. While playing the drums during
a band competition in 2008, Ong was discovered as a trainee by the now-defunct
entertainment group Lion Media. Nevertheless, he faced internal issues in the
